Tea beer, fruit beer, and a short drama on HaloShort
Invite friends over to try tea beer and fruit beer, and the conversation might turn to the aroma or a story someone recently watched. A few flavors on the table do not mean you need several shows queued up, too. HaloShort gives you another option for the living room: choose a short drama, keep watching if it works for everyone, and pause when the conversation moves on.

Flavors can be chosen individually, but a storyline needs one shared entry point
Tea beer and fruit beer bring a change in beer choices, and TV content choices can also be a bit more specific: tonight, would you rather watch lighthearted character interactions, or a story with suspense? Rather than asking "just put on anything," giving two genre directions is more likely to get a response. Genre names can't replace the actual content—only by watching the first few minutes do you know whether the pacing and dialogue suit this gathering.
HaloShort allows episode selection, but when watching a drama for the first time, starting from the beginning to get to know the characters is often smoother. Those who have already seen it don't need to spoil all the later twists in advance—leave a little room for newcomers to keep watching on their own. If everyone uses different languages, confirm the actual subtitles of the current episode, and don't mistake the page language for the subtitle language.
Don't let the cliffhanger at the end of an episode decide for everyone automatically
A short drama episode ends quickly, and might immediately roll into the next segment. If you only plan to watch one episode before friends leave, you can turn off autoplay. That way, when the ending arrives, everyone can naturally decide whether to continue, switch dramas, or keep chatting. This setting only affects the next episode; if the current playback needs to be interrupted, you still have to pause it.
If you find something interesting but have no time to watch tonight, you can add it to local favorites. The next time you open it on the same TV, finding that candidate will be a bit easier. If friends want to find dramas after they get home, just send them the title—favorites and progress on each person's device are kept separately.
The app entry point stays here
As of October 1, 2026, HaloShort's current content is free; for a product introduction, see the HaloShort official website, and the download entry is at Emotn. At home, when using a compatible Android TV or Google TV device, you can add it to your existing TV entertainment options. Choosing one drama everyone is interested in is more useful than installing many apps just to fill up the TV home screen.
